OOTD: Blue Maxi Skirt

Hey y'all

This summery OOTD features the gorgeous blue maxi skirt that I showed in my Another Miniature Haul Post, and a DIY crop top that I made! Maybe I'll do a post on how I made it? What do you guys think?

If I'm feeling less brave and don't want to show my tummy section I'll just un-cropify the top and tuck it in!

DIY: Fringe Top

Hey y'all

As I mentioned in my OOTD: Zumba Class post, I have been working on another DIY video for you guys! A fringe top! I love these and I have been planning to buy one but then I thought why buy one when I can make one!! Enjoy :D

1. I measured how short I wanted the top to be

2. I made a cut of that length. I used fabric scissors but you could probably use any type 

3. I then kept on making slits in the top of the same length, making sure I caught the front and back of the fabric

4. I tried this on but I thought the tassels were too long so I cut them shorter

5. I then thought it would look nicer if I cut the slits higher in the middle

6. I still wasn't happy though! I cut the bottom part of the fringes to match the rise of the slits in the middle

7. I then thought the tassels were too long, again! So I cut them again and voila the finished product:

This was the first time I made this so there was a lot of trial and error involved but I'm quite pleased with the final product! Leave a comment below with your thoughts! :)

OOTD: Zumba Class!

Hey y'all

I had a Zumba class today and thought 'hey this could make a good outfit of the day!' so here it is! Its just for anyone who does some exercises! :p

This is the complete outfit:

I then got a bit excited and tried to do some action shots in the outfit!

I know embarassing! But lets get back to the outfit now :D

I hope that inspires your fitness wardrobe!

I got the top and shorts from the sale in sports direct, they always seem to be having a sale!

An Whole Outfit for Under £50

Hey y'all

I thought it would be nice to do something a little different so heres an outfit that I've picked out online for under £50, this includes accessories and shoes because you know who doesnt love a good bargain!

These shorts are from H&M, their £7.99 and I think their gorgeous! I love the pastel minty greeny colour of it and I really love tailored shorts! :D 

This beautiful top is also from H&M! It costs £12.99, I really like contrasting dark and light colours and I think black and pastel green do it really well!

The outfit overall is quite casual so I think these high tops really compliment the outfit, their from New Look and are £15.99  

Finally some accessories, I've picked out some earrings, rings and a bracelet to complete the outfit! The earrings are from New Look, £2.99, the ring is from H&M, £3.99 and the bracelet is from River Island at £4

My Favourite Trends

Hey y'all,

Before I get to the actual blog I wanted to give a quick apology for not having posted in so long! but I'm back now and ill try to post regularly!

So yeah, there are three trends / items of clothing that I am loving right now, here they are!

1. BRALETS! I absolutely love these and think they look great with high-waisted skirts and shorts, I only wear them with high waisted stuff because I'm afraid to show all of my stomach but if your brave enough go for it!!!

A bralet that I think is gorgeous and plan to buy one day is this Topshop bralet, It's just a plain washed out bralet but it goes with so many things!

 

I also would wear it with this beautiful maxi skirt from New Look, because of its peach coral colour it looks great with washed out denim! :)






2. OMBRE SHORTS, this probably my favourite trend because, you get two colours in one pair of shorts!! :p well yeah these are my two favourite ombre shorts :)

This is from H&M and I love that it goes from a kind of neutral brown to a vibrant pink!



The next one is from Miss Selfridge and I think it would look great with a dark coloured top to contrast with the lightness of the blue on top :D



3. The final trend is DIPPED HEM DRESSES I think this is a really subtle and sexy way to show a bit of legs this summer :p

I love this dress from New Look because of the tropical print which is really in this summer!




I think this would look great with these heels from Topshop because even though clashing prints in, I think its nice sometimes to just keep it plain with the shoes with such a vibrant dress!

Recent Purchase: White Sleeveless Button Down Shirt

Hey y'all

I recently bought this BEAUTIFUL white sleeveless button down shirt from Newlook, it cost me like £12 and I love it :D 

White shirts are something most people have in their closets somewhere so I thought it would be nice to show you guys some ways in which I would wear this shirt this summer, enjoy :D

With some washed out denim shorts

Excuse the crazy hand :D But yeah with a vibrant blue bodycon skirt

With some dark blue high-waisted shorts

I hope that gave you some ideas at how you could style your clothes! :D

How I Style: High - Waisted Shorts

Hey y'all

I got a request for a 'How I Style: High - Waisted Shorts' video a while ago so I thought it was about time I made it, enjoy :D

The first way is with a vest top with minimal detail, this is for a really casual look :)

This is for the days when its warm enough to wear shorts but you want to wear a long sleeve top just to keep your arms warm :p 

Because the first two styles are for dark coloured shorts, i thought I'd show one with light coloured shorts :) I like to pair this with a dark coloured top to get a slight contrast :)
