DIY: Crop Top

Hey y'all

After I did a OOTD post with my maxi skirt and a diy crop top (which you can check out here), a few people asked how I made the crop top so here's how! Its really simple and takes like 5 seconds!

1. Put on the top that you want to cropify

2. Gather all the material to the front so its tight round your body

3. Grab a hair bobble and tie the material like your tying a ponytail

4. Tuck the ponytail into the top

From the maxi skirt OOTD
5. Hey presto! A crop top!

Also, I recently thought I would start a shopping series! I'll basically just be posting images and prices of items that I think are great buys! But each post will be from a different shop! What do you guys think about that? :)

DIY: Fringe Top

Hey y'all

As I mentioned in my OOTD: Zumba Class post, I have been working on another DIY video for you guys! A fringe top! I love these and I have been planning to buy one but then I thought why buy one when I can make one!! Enjoy :D

1. I measured how short I wanted the top to be
2. I made a cut of that length. I used fabric scissors but you could probably use any type
3. I then kept on making slits in the top of the same length, making sure I caught the front and back of the fabric
4. I tried this on but I thought the tassels were too long so I cut them shorter
5. I then thought it would look nicer if I cut the slits higher in the middle
6. I still wasn't happy though! I cut the bottom part of the fringes to match the rise of the slits in the middle
7. I then thought the tassels were too long, again! So I cut them again and voila the finished product:

This was the first time I made this so there was a lot of trial and error involved but I'm quite pleased with the final product! Leave a comment below with your thoughts! :)

And what do you guys think about a video of how I style patterned hotpants?

DIY: Open Shoulder Shirt

Hey y'all

I thought I'd change up the posts I normally make and post a DIY video :D Basically, I'm gonna take an oversize shirt and transform it into an open shoulder top, Enjoy :)
This is the shirt that I started of with, its actually a mens shirt :p I got it from a charity shop, for free :D

I marked out the part of the top that I wanted to remove in pencil :)

I had to redo the line in red pen because I couldn't see the pencil :P but yeah I just used ordinary scissors to cut a messy circle out of the shoulder of the shirt :)

And thats it, its really simple to do :) Here's a few pics of the finished product :D
